nyc: mugged!!
love it.
Hi, I'm Rosie : )
Originally from Nashville (aka Nashvegas aka Cashville), I now live and work in NYC. I'm 22 years young and I love yoga, late nights, baking, georgia football, hot tubs, good music, chai tea lattes from starbucks, piggy back rides, spending the night under the stars and everything pop culture.
I especially love the internet.
I have my dream job working at a place called Translation
The author writes, “I suspect some visitors might have wondered if I had made it up after eating that piece of cheese I found hidden at the back of the fridge, even though I haven’t bought any in years (Hell sometimes, late at night as the wind whistles around the stony private parts of the mooning gargoyles at Chez Emps, I wonder that myself - I mean the guy had sex with Airwolf!!). So it is with relief, and a little trepidation, that I can offer those who missed it the opportunity to allow their minds to boggle, as it has come to my attention that the full episode of Strangelove entitled “My Car Is My Lover” is available on YouTube.”
Novelist and business writer Po Bronson spent two years interviewing more than 900 people who had weighed or were weighing that question. From his research came the book, What Should I Do With My Life? The True Story of People Who Answered the Ultimate Question. (sent by my mom, via NPR)
‘thank you and you’re welcome’ - a book of kanye-isms

Nokia, Campari, HP & Perez Hilton. Even if you’re not in advertising, I’m willing to bet you could pick out product placement in a second. A lot of times it looks silly - but here’s the thing - this video, after only one day, has 100K views… and brands are concerned with numbers. so to them, this looks good and they don’t see the silliness. can this ever be fixed? or should i resign to terrible product placement?
if you do one thing today, go to this website! really freaking cool.
This site is in spanish, so i have no idea what it’s for, but move your mouse to the music and create beautiful images. Quite relaxing. (via not-a-stacist)
This week’s New Yorker cover was drawn on an iphone. Anyone that says the iphone isn’t the coolest phone on the planet needs to watch this and try to argue their point. (not-a-stacist)
(i had a minor freak-out in costa rica when i thought i had left my iphone at our hotel. literally cried because i thought i lost my phone. when did technology become more than just technology?)
what?! how can this really be true?? with gossip girl and hulu, aren’t 90% of teens watching tv online??
